Medications

Most animals that visit our clinic go home immediately after their appointment. They are often given medication to treat the diagnosed condition. Sometimes, treatment begins with an injection during the appointment.

• As a general rule, no medications are dispensed without a prior consultation.
• Refills of medication can sometimes be prescribed without a consultation, but only after discussion with and approval by a veterinarian.
• Less strict rules apply to dietary supplements and deworming treatments.
