However, it’s not always easy to determine whether an animal might be unwell. Things like sleeping a lot, drinking and urinating frequently, incontinence, reduced stamina, weight loss, lumps, difficulty getting up, limping, etc., etc., etc., are usually accepted as “normal” signs of aging. But in fact, these are usually symptoms of conditions that can often be treated effectively, provided they are detected in time.

We offer asenior check-up specifically designed for older pets, which includes:
• a complete physical examination
• a urinalysis (urinary tract, metabolism)
• a complete blood test (hematology, organ function, metabolism)

If the examination warrants it, a more extensive examination can, of course, be conducted in consultation with you.
