Cat

A tailored approach and a separate waiting area
Cats aren't small dogs, but when they're sick, they're often treated as if they were. However, they suffer from numerous ailments that aren't found in dogs, and these therefore require a specific approach.
’s Separate Waiting and Treatment Room
Most cat owners know just how stressful a visit to the vet can be for their pet. It often starts right in the waiting room: just as you’re sitting quietly with your cat in its carrier, a large dog—which is also nervous and therefore restless—suddenly comes and sits next to you. That’s a great way to make the cat even more nervous, which in turn makes it harder to handle the animal on the exam table.
To make your cat’s visit to our clinic as stress-free as possible, we’ve decided to set up our new treatment rooms exclusively for cats!
Cats are very sensitive to all kinds of smells and sounds. That is why we ask our clients who come in with a cat to take a seat in the separate waiting room for cats—far away from all the barking and dog smells. Right next to the waiting room is the new examination room, where only cats are treated.
We believe that a separate treatment room for cats should also include a cat-centered approach and treatment. By staying up to date on the latest developments in the field of feline care, we strive to implement this cat-centered approach as much as possible!
