Literature for (beginning) breeders

Make sure you read up on it thoroughly!

Every (novice) dog breeder faces questions and issues regarding the mating of the female dog, during pregnancy, and before, during, and after the birth of the puppies. Breeders often consult their veterinarian for guidance. Of course, the veterinarian is happy to offer advice, but it’s still important for the breeder to have some basic knowledge of the subject. The veterinarian will therefore recommend reading a book on this subject in advance. A good book for beginners is “Rond de werpkist” (Around the Litter Box), written by Malinka Lingmont.
