Blood Test

Provides information about red and white blood cells and platelets, which is important for diagnosing inflammation, tumors, allergies, etc. This test, which uses highly advanced equipment, is usually supplemented with a blood smear test. The hematological test is performed using the Procyte.

Provides information about the functioning of various organs and about metabolism. With this test, we can perform more than 20 different measurements! The clinical chemistry blood test is performed using the Catalist.

The most important tests we conduct ourselves are the

•  progesterone test
•  T-4 (thyroxine) and TSH test (thyroid function test)

For these tests, we use the Immulite 2000 XPi, the most accurate machine available for this type of testing.

Using a number of Snap tests, we can test your pets for: FeLV, FIV, Borrelia (Lyme disease), heartworm, and Ehrlichia. A positive result means that your pet has been exposed to the pathogen and may be sick.
That’s it: everything is done “in-house,” so you’ll get results very quickly!

For some tests, we still need the assistance of external laboratories. These include, for example, testing for herpes (breeding!), testing for hereditary disorders (HCM, PKD), and blood type testing for certain purebred cats.
